Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior; pray a prayer similar to this one:

"Dear Christ Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I am willing to turn my back on those sins and do what you want me to. I know you died a horrible death for me so that my sins could be washed away. I want you to come into my heart today and take over my life. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to walk the narrow path toward you. I receive you now, Lord. Thank you for all that you have done for me.
Amen."

Whether you just prayed a similar prayer or if Jesus had already become your personal Savior this verse will assure you of your salvation:

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
